The Worry Circle
Worrying is a stressful habit. Worry on its own never solves anything. If it is an actual concern then taking action will solve it.
Unless action can be taken the worry needs to be dropped. There is a tendency to replace a dropped worry with another. The same principle needs to be applied.
Consistently practising dropping worry if action can’t be taken establishes a new habit, which is more solution-focused and much calmer.
